DESCRIPTION:World Diabetes Day is a global occasion for people with diabetes\, healthcare professionals\, advocates\, policymakers and the public to unite to raise awareness of and take action on diabetes. \nThe theme for World Diabetes Day 2024-26 is Diabetes and Well-being. The campaign focus for 2025 is diabetes and the workplace\, with the slogan “Know more and do more for diabetes at work.” \nThis World Diabetes Day\, International Diabetes Federation (IDF) is calling on employers\, employees and the global community to improve their knowledge about diabetes and take action to facilitate supportive work environments for people with the condition. There are several ways for you to get involved and support the campaign in your community: \n\nShare your experience of diabetes at work by taking the Diabetes in the Workplace Survey\nTake the quiz How Diabetes-Friendly Is Your Workplace?\nAsk your policymaker to advocate for improved access to care and support for people living with diabetes around the world by sending a letter through IDF’s online tool\nOrganise a World Diabetes Day activity\nTake part in the Global Diabetes Walk\nSupport World Diabetes Day on social media and promote the theme using #DiabetesLife\n\nVisit the World Diabetes Day website to learn more: https://worlddiabetesday.org
